Boil Drinking Water Notice Lifted

DRINKING WATER PROBLEM CORRECTED

 

Customers of Metro Utility Department were notified on April 9th 2021 of a problem with our drinking water due to a sudden loss of pressure in the Griffin Tank Pressure Zone and were advised to boil water before consumption. We have conducted bacteriological testing throughout the affected area and we are pleased to report that the problem has been corrected and that it is no longer necessary to continue the boil water advisory. We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your patience.
